Jyl Robbins is a McGown trained instructor and completed her certification at the Northern Teachers Workshop in 2007. She began hooking at the age of eight thanks to her mother, Joan Blauvelt, who also was a rug hooking instructor in Southwestern Michigan.

I’ve opened up a self-service rug shop. It's located at Americas Antique Mall in Louisville, KY. I have a selection of wools, patterns and frames. The mall is located at 5252 Bardstown Rd. This is at the intersection of Bardstown and Hurstbourne Lane. Please stop by anytime from 10 to 7 any day of the week.
